South Eastern Idaho Practical Shooters host a monthly IDPA club match every 3rd Saturday of the month, March through November. We have 4 scenario stages with 1 standard stage.

-The 10th Annual Sheepdog CCP Championship Presented by Taurus USA will be held at the Little River Sportsman’s Association Action Pistol Range in Valdosta, GA – http://www.lrsa.info

-Location: 19925 Valdosta Hwy, Valdosta, GA 31602 (1.4 miles West of I-75, Exit 18)

-Thursday, December 3, 2026, is for the Match Leadership.
-Friday, December 4, 2026, is for Staff shooters. There will be 4 early squads for competitors to shoot with staff on Friday, December 4, 2026, first-come, first-served.
-Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, 2026, is for competitors shooting.

-Special Safety Rule: Shooters will not shoot at steel targets or steel hard cover at less than 10 yards.

-Lunch will be served during the match, competition will not stop for lunch (lunch will be individual lunches).

-Please select ONLY ONE subcategory per the Match Administration Rules, paragraph M-5.2.

-REFUND POLICY
Historically, the Sheepdog CCP Championship has had a no refund policy except in the most extreme circumstance (death of a competitor). This policy will clearly explain what that means and its impact on you as a shooter. Our goal is to provide more of an impact on our chosen charity, and we hope that you can understand our position. If you cannot attend the match after you have registered and paid, then you have 2 choices:

1. You can attempt to sell or transfer your slot to another shooter. In this case DO NOT WITHDRAW USING PRACTISCORE. We will play no part in that transaction except to change the shooter information to the new competitor. If we sell out and have a waiting list AND we are aware that you want to sell/transfer your slot, we will put you in touch with the first person on the waiting list. You get to make the deal and tell us that we can change the shooter information.

2. Withdraw your registration. We will honor that, withdraw your registration and then immediately delete it to open it up for another competitor should one be available. There will be no refund.

-Shooters are automatically approved to squad in the order that they are registered.

-Payment of the $160 match fee is required at the time of registration and includes lunch and a Sheepdog Match Shirt.
A special Zerosports Sheepdog jersey can be ordered and delivered to the match at: INFO when available for order

-We do NOT have a dedicated Match Hotel. We have not had luck in the past working any deals with hotels in the area. But there are plenty of options within 10 minutes of the range.

-RV Accommodations are available at the Riverpark RV campground, 1 mile from the range. For rates, go to http://www.riverparkvaldosta.com/

-If you have a totally self-contained RV, we have 5-10 spaces available at no charge. First come, first served. You must ask to be on my list to reserve your spot.

1st ever Permian Basin Black Gold Shootout held at the Midland Shooting Assoation Range in the heart of the Permian basin oil and gas fields of West Texas. this outdoor range has 8 covered bays plus several open bays for a wonderful day of shooting. We also have several RV spots at the range for use as well.

Important Policy Update: SIG Sauer P320 Prohibition
The International Defensive Pistol Association, Inc. (IDPA), in response to numerous reports and videos, is immediately prohibiting the use of the SIG Sauer P320 in all of its variants from any competition or event sanctioned by the IDPA. All other SIG Sauer models may still be used in the division appropriate for their configuration.

This match will be capped at 30 shooters and 6 Safety Officers. You will be able to waitlist if we have more than 36 shooters. If you are waitlisted, you will receive a separate email if and when you have been approved to shoot.

Stage set up and registration will begin at 8:00 AM.
The mandatory Safety Meeting is scheduled for 8:30am. Registration closes when the Safety Meeting begins.
If you miss the safety meeting, you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHOOT.
Shooting starts at soon as setup is complete. Competitor assistance with setup is appreciated.
Please arrive no later than 8:15 AM if you are a new shooter and do not gear up until you have attended the new shooter briefing.

Eye and ear protection is required for all participants and observers.

COURSES OF FIRE The match will include 4 stages with a total minimum round count of 72. A concealment garment is required for most stages. Those shooters new to IDPA do not need to wear a concealment garment.

SAFETY OFFICERS We will have 2 squads and need at least 6 SOs to safely run all the shooters through the match.

MATCH DIRECTOR The match director for this match is TBD.
