OCSC Blizzard Blast is an Indoor IDPA Tier 2 match. There will be 7 stages with 2 of them being low light. We allow all IDPA divisions including PCC and appendix carry. Staff will shoot on Friday January 9th at 1PM. Competitors will have a morning shoot and afternoon shoot on Saturday January 10th and Sunday January 11th. There will be a lunch provided on Saturday and Sunday for shooters. Cost is $105 and we will have online payments available.
Hotel accommodations for the match are with Comfort Inn & Suites Clarkston with a discount rate of $119 per night. The address for the Comfort Inn is 6874 Sashabaw Rd Clarkston, MI 48348

Bring a cover garment, and a flashlight or gun light.
Competitors can shoot more than one division, but must register to shoot in a different squad. Only your first score will be counted, and posted. (Full match fees will apply.)
REQUIREMENTS: Holster Qualification
Any of the following: IPSC, IDPA/NSCI, CSSA or ELGC
IDPA Holster (No Race Gun Holsters)
No IWB Holsters at this time.
Pistol Holsters need to have at least 1 level of retention.
Mini Rifle Carbine must have a Chamber Flag.
Walk-Ons Accepted.

I tiratori dovranno presentarsi al campo negli orari stabilit e recarsi in Segreteria per registrare la propria presenza muniti di Porto d\’Armi in corso di validita\’ e Certificato medico agonistico
E\’ necessaria l\’appartenenza ad una ASD/poligono Ed essere in possesso della tessera Asi per partecipare alla manifestazione
REGOLE DI SICUREZZA
L\’accesso di accompagnatori permesso solo nelle aree preposte, esterne al bay, con obbligo di cuffie e occhiali
Le armi, scariche e senza caricatore inserito, potranno essere maneggiate esclusivamente nelle fumble zone predisposte e segnalate. I PCC devono essere trasportati in valigetta o con bandiera di sicurezza visibile nella camera di cartuccia, con volata rivolta verso l\’alto (condizione muzzle up).
Ogni comportamento contrario a quanto non esaustivamente descritto comportera\’ l\’immediata squalifica del tiratore senza possibilit di continuare il match.
Tutti i tiratori devono essere in regola secondo la legge italiana per riguarda quanto i permessi di porto e/o trasporto e l\’utilizzo delle armi da fuoco e delle munizioni
La Direzione del poligono declina ogni responsabilit per il mancato rispetto delle norme vigenti in materia di armi da fuoco
Il campo di tiro rientra nella tipologia IDPA Cold Range

Phoenix Rod and Gun Club is proud to host the 2026 Healy Arms South Mountain Showdown. This is a Tier 2 match with 8-10 scenario based stages plus chrono. The match will be approximately 180 rounds. This is a one day event. So get out of the cold and snow and come join us in Phoenix Arizona, where the weather is nice and the shooting is better!
A few important notes:
1. Please note that last years match filled up in a couple of minutes. Dont wait set your calendar reminders now to register.
2. Match fee is $140, which will include lunch at the end of match.
3. There will be no AIWB (Appendix Inside the Waistband) holsters allowed in this match.
4. All registrations become final when the registration closes on December 15th.
5. Division changes (and other changes) will not be allowed after December 15th as we need to have the trophy order in by then.
6. There will be a $25 processing fee for withdrawals on or before December 10 and no refunds after December 10th.
7. You will have 48hrs after approval to complete your registration and pay the entry fee or you will be moved to the waiting list and allow the next person in.
