Welcome to the October Chairman’s Cup Defensive Pistol Fest!

This event is a celebration of skill, unity, and Kenyas milestones in shooting sports. We’ve curated a collection of exclusive stages from around the world, providing a unique and challenging experience for all participants.

For the first time in Kenya, we are proud to host two competitions in just two days each, offering the opportunity to earn 4 points demonstrating our dedication to excellence and growth in our shooting community.

All activities will take place within the Kirigiti Shooting Range and the Annexe Shooting Range, which are conveniently side by side, ensuring a seamless and exhilarating experience. Defensive Pistol and Chairman’s Cup. Both Tier 3 matches, stages courtesy of Walt.

Important Policy Update: SIG Sauer P320 Prohibition
The International Defensive Pistol Association, Inc. (IDPA), in response to numerous reports and videos, is immediately prohibiting the use of the SIG Sauer P320 in all of its variants from any competition or event sanctioned by the IDPA. All other SIG Sauer models may still be used in the division appropriate for their configuration.

This match will be capped at 30 shooters and 6 Safety Officers. You will be able to waitlist if we have more than 36 shooters. If you are waitlisted, you will receive a separate email if and when you have been approved to shoot.

Stage set up and registration will begin at 8:00 AM.
The mandatory Safety Meeting is scheduled for 8:30am. Registration closes when the Safety Meeting begins.
If you miss the safety meeting, you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHOOT.
Shooting starts at soon as setup is complete. Competitor assistance with setup is appreciated.
Please arrive no later than 8:15 AM if you are a new shooter and do not gear up until you have attended the new shooter briefing.

Eye and ear protection is required for all participants and observers.

COURSES OF FIRE The match will include 4 stages with a total minimum round count of 72. A concealment garment is required for most stages. Those shooters new to IDPA do not need to wear a concealment garment.

SAFETY OFFICERS We will have 2 squads and need at least 6 SOs to safely run all the shooters through the match.

Match will consist of five stages with round count of 108. Check in at pistol bays begins at 7:30, with first shots at 9 AM.

Sanctum operates using a “COLD RANGE” principle which means all firearms are to remain unloaded and in your gun bag/box. Holstering to be done at identified red safe tables located at each end of the pistol bays. No ammo allowed in safe areas. Pistol to remain holstered until you are in bays under the direct supervision of a Sanctum/IDPA Safety Officer and have been instructed to “load and make ready” on a prescribed course of fire.

2026 Malabar Matchup #1 includes a minimum of 7 stages with capacity for at least 90 competitors. The match has a minimum round count of 110 rounds.

Match Fee: $45

Because of the low match fee, there will be no prize table, shirt or food provided. We hope to have a food truck available. Trophies will be awarded.

PMRPC does not allow AIWB holsters due to insurance/liability reasons.

REFUND POLICY:
