New Area Coordinator in the US Southwest

Bora Angel from Plano, TX, has been appointed as the Area Coordinator of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska. He is a CDP and ESP Master, is the match director for Texas State IDPA match, and the Collin County IDPA VP in charge of match direction.

Angel has been shooting IDPA since 2011 and was initially attracted to it as a skill builder. “I didn’t have time to teach NRA classes anymore due to my day job at the time, and wanted an avenue to keep up my skills.”

What are his plans for his new area? “I would like to grow the SO/CSO pool. Help clubs put on matches that are drama free. Help new clubs grow their active membership.”

The new AC is a Technology Architect with specialization in data. He also likes to spend time with his family, “…wife Wendy, 4 large dogs, 1 cat, 2 guinea pigs and 1 horse. Luckily, the horse is boarded at the barn.”
