The next Racine IDPA match is coming up this Saturday, June 14, 2014. ?This is the 3rd Annual Ladies Match. ?The match is being held at Schultz Gun Club in Muskego. Ever wonder what the man in your life is doing when he goes off to shoot IDPA? ?Come join us for the 3rd Annual Ladies Match and get started in an awesome shooting sport! ?Learn about IDPA with women that want to help grow the sport with more female shooters! ? Men will be allowed to attend only if they are bringing a woman shooter. ?Men will not be allowed to shoot. ?Safety Officers have already been selected. ?Thank you in advance for your?willingness to help!? ? Online registration is now available at the following site? http://www.eventzilla.net/web/event?eventid=2139040106 Setup and range preparation will start at?8:00 am.?Registration will begin at 9:00 am.?The Safety Briefing will be at 9:30 am and shooting will start at 10:00 am. ? ? ?You?MUST?attend the safety meeting to be able to shoot. If you arrive late and miss the safety meeting you will not be able to shoot. Also, eye and ear protection are required for everyone who goes out into the range regardless if you are shooting or just observing. ? COURSES OF FIRE This match features the 3rd Annual Ladies Match.??There will be 6 stages.??Shooters should bring a minimum of 85 rounds.??A concealment garment is?required for some stages. ? ?Match fee is $16 for Racine IDPA members, $21 for all non-members for pre-registration. ?Match fee day of the match will be $20 for Racine IDPA members and $25 for all non-members. ? NEW SHOOTERS If you are a new shooter, we ask that you do not gear up until we meet to discuss equipment placement (holster and mag carriers). One of our Safety Officers will ask each new shooter to explain the controls (safety, mag release, etc.) of their firearm.? MATCH DIRECTOR Kellie Ropers will be the Match Director at this match. This is a fundraiser raffle, with proceeds going to Wisconsin Special Olympics. We plan on selling *at least* 100 tickets at $10 each, and will hold the drawing at the match where we hit that minimum number of tickets sold. The winner will be responsible for any shipping or dealer transfer fees, and all State and Federal laws apply. As of this email, we?ve sold 69 tickets. The 2014 WI State IDPA Championship will be held at Schultz?s on?09/20/2014. There is a limit of 99 non-staff Shooters, and slots are filling fast.
