BADGER IDPA ? December 6th Members Only Match The next Badger IDPA match will be held on December 6th, 2014. The match will be held at Shooters? Sports Center in Racine, WI. Directions can be found on our web site at http://www.badgeridpa.com. Participants MUST be 2014 members of Badger IDPA in order to attend this match. If you were a 2014 member of Racine IDPA, you are now a 2014 member of Badger IDPA. If you are unsure of your Badger IDPA membership status, please contact one of the Badger IDPA Board Members, whose contact information is available at www.badgeridpa.com. This is our annual club members only match, and we will be having a potluck as well as our member prize giveaway. The prizes include three handguns. The handgun winners need not be present, but any winners that are present will have their choice of the three handguns we are giving away, with those not present winning whatever is left. Winners are responsible for any shipping and/or dealer transfer fees. For the non-firearm prizes, winners must be present to choose an item from the prize table. Registration/check-in will begin at 5:15 PM. The Safety Meeting will be at 6:00 PM with shooting to start immediately after the Safety Briefing. You MUST attend the safety meeting to be able to shoot. If you arrive late and miss the safety meeting you will not be able to shoot. Also, eye and ear protection are required for everyone who goes out into the range. Online registration is available at: http://badgergoodiesmatch.eventzilla.net/ The online registration match fee is $16 for Badger IDPA members. Walk-up registration is $20 for members. Safety Officers pay $10. When registering online, please indicate what food item you will be bringing to the match. While we are expecting a large turnout for the match, individual attendees are not expected to bring a large amount of food. Every attendee is expected to bring *something*, but please just bring a reasonable amount. It would also be helpful if you post what you plan to bring to the Facebook event for this match, or just send Tom Ropers (email@example.com) an email indicating what you plan to bring. COURSES OF FIRE This match consists of three stages as well a pistol-caliber carbine side match. The minimum round count for the main match is 36 rounds, and the side match will require a minimum of 10 rounds. SAFETY OFFICERS We plan on two squads, and we like at least 8 S.O.’s for this match. SO’s will also be responsible for the initial stage set up. If you can act as an SO, please email Tom Ropers at firstname.lastname@example.org and/or post to the match event in the club’s Facebook group. MATCH DIRECTOR Tom Ropers will be the Match Director at this match. MATCH DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE Please make sure to help paste targets, be prepared to shoot when called, etc. Since we will be having a potluck meal as well as our annual member prize drawing, we need to make every effort to keep the match moving along so as to end at a reasonable time. The potluck and prize drawing will be held after the first two stages of the match have been completed. As a reminder, the 2015 Badger IDPA Membership Application is available on our web site, and our memberships follow the calendar year. Thanks, and hope to see you at the match!
