West GA Tactical Shooters

We are an International Defensive Pistol Association affilliated club based in the West Georgia area. WGTS strives to teach and promote safe gun handling and training while having fun. We host a friendly outdoor local match on the second Saturday of every month at 9am ET, at the West Georgia Youth Range in Tallapoosa, GA. Matches are posted on PractiScore. Please check to there for seasonal time changes and to preregister. The address is, 222 Landfill Rd. Tallapoosa Georgia, 30176. (west of Atlanta about 10 miles from Alabama; (directions below). If you exit Interstate 20 at Bremen (Exit 11), go north on Hwy 27 to the intersection of Hwy 27 and Hwy 78. Turn left (west) on Hwy 78 and go 3.7 miles to Landfill Rd. Follow Landfill Rd until it dead ends at the main gate, 9/10 of a mile, go past the weigh station and stay on the dirt road until you reach the second gate, 6/10 of a mile, then keep left to get to the pistol bays. If you exit I-20 at Waco (Exit 9), go north on Atlantic Ave., to the intersection of Atlantic Ave. and Hwy. 78. Turn left (west) and it?s 2.5 miles to Landfill Rd. Follow Landfill Rd until it dead ends at the main gate, 9/10 of a mile, go past the weigh station and stay on the dirt road until you reach the second gate, 6/10 of a mile, then keep left to get to the pistol bays.
