Nestled in the heart of cottage country just outside Sundridge, Ontario, Eagle Lake Gun Club (ELGC) has earned its reputation as Ontarios premier IDPA club. Built on a foundation of safety, sportsmanship, and high-performance practical shooting, ELGC is proud to be a destination club for competitors from across the province and beyond.

ELGC is best known for hosting high-quality, sanctioned IDPA matches that challenge shooters while remaining true to the core principles of defensive pistol competition. Our annual flagship event, the Algonquin Cup, has become a must-shoot match on the Ontario IDPA calendarrecognized for its well-designed stages, professional match operations, and outstanding competitor experience. Building on that legacy, Eagle Lake Gun Club is honoured to host the Ontario Provincial IDPA Championship in both 2025 and 2026, further cementing its role as a leader in the provincial IDPA community.

The club is home to some of Ontarios top competitive IDPA shooters, including experienced Match Directors, Safety Officers, and volunteers who are deeply committed to the sport. This depth of experience translates into matches that are fair, safe, challenging, and exceptionally well runwhether for new shooters entering their first match or seasoned competitors chasing provincial titles.
