Beretta To Be Event Sponsor of 2023 IDPA World Championship
IDPA is excited to announce that Beretta has signed on as the official Event Sponsor of the 2023 IDPA World Championship Presented by Beretta match.
The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real-life encounters. It was founded in 1996 as a response to the desires of shooters worldwide. The organization now boasts a membership of more than 22,000, including members in 75 foreign countries.
Joyce Wilson, IDPA Executive Director, said “We are so excited to be working with Beretta again. Beretta has been a very important part of IDPA for years and we are thrilled to have them back as the title sponsor of the match. We couldn’t put on matches like the World Championship without the support of generous sponsors like Beretta, and we’re very grateful.”
The 2023 IDPA World Championship match is scheduled for October 12 – 14, 2023 at the CMP Marksmanship Park in Talladega, AL.
The Tier 5 World Championship will host approximately 400 shooters who compete in 16 stages over three days of competition as they run through a variety of intense defensive situations. For more information, please visit https://www.idpa.com/matches/2023-idpa-world-championship/
