Ruger On Board As Major Sponsor Of IDPA’s U.S. National Championship

BERRYVILLE, Ark. – Ruger, the legendary American firearms manufacturer and industry leader, has renewed its commitment to the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) and will be one of the major sponsors of IDPA’s 2013 U.S. National Championship.

“Ruger is one of the great names in the firearms industry, for both the firearms they make and the important role they play in promoting the shooting sports,” said Robert Ray, membership and marketing director for IDPA. “We’re extremely pleased to welcome back Ruger as a major sponsor of IDPA’s U.S. Nationals.”

Ruger joins the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Brownells, Harris Publications, Smith & Wesson, Taurus and Wilson Combat as a gold level sponsor of the U.S. Nationals which will take place September 19 thru 21 on the ranges of the U.S. Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Match officials expect to draw over 300 of the sport’s top shooters to compete the championship.
