HOUSTON, Texas - Randi Rogers of Comp-Tac Victory Gear begins her season by winning the High Lady title at the Costa Rica IDPA National Championship. The match was held February 1-2, 2013, in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The Costa Rica IDPA Championship challenged competitors with 12 stages totaling 169 rounds. Stages included challenges of moving targets, steel, and targets ranging from two to 25 yards. Shooters competed from positions of standing, kneeling, prone and from inside a car. Rogers won High Lady and finished third Master in the Stock Service Pistol division with a total time of 199.53 seconds.

"Traveling to Costa Rica has been an amazing and rewarding experience. Shooting abroad can be challenging with the travel and the regional differences in shooting. The Costa Rica IDPA club put on one of the best IDPA matches I have been to and I was excited to shoot well enough to bring home high lady," said Randi Rogers of Team Comp-Tac.

In addition to sending team members Randi Rogers and Gordon Carrell, Comp-Tac Victory Gear was also a two stage sponsor at the Costa Rica IDPA National Championship. "Comp-Tac strives to serve competitive shooters at home and abroad. We are proud to have been part of the 2nd Costa Rica Nationals and look forward to helping all shooting sports continue to grow," explained owner and president of Comp-Tac Gregg Garrett.

Team Comp-Tac's next match is the Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor Nationals, February 21-23, 2013, at the Smith & Wesson Shooting Sports Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
