SCENARIO: You’re trapped in the back room and there is only one way out. You’ve decided the best defense is a good offense.

PROCEDURE: Start at P1. Firearm loaded to division capacity. Hands on X.

Engage T1 – T7. T2-T3 cannot be re-engaged once leaving cover.

NOTE: T1 can only be seen from P1. T5-T6 can be engaged from P1 or P3. T7 can only be seen from P2. Photobeam activates T4 max trap and swinger in front of T5-T6.

SCENARIO: Treasonous scum have entered your throne room holding the queen captive. Deal with the traitors yourself using your secret weapon. Be careful to stay within the rope boarders.

PROCEDURE: Start with firearm loaded and holstered ammo carriers on body per rules. Sitting at P1 on throne.

Stand and engage PP1 and PP2 from the throne platform ONLY. Then move out onto the roped area of the throne room and engage the hiding assassins T1-T8 with 2 shots each in tactical priority, each layer of targets is a new priority level. 1-3 equal, 4-6 equal, 7&8 equal. There is no cover on this stage, all barrels are visual barriers only.

NOTE: re-engaging steel at closer distance is a safety violation.

SCENARIO: Mozambique using all your skills.

PROCEDURE: Start with firearm loaded and holstered. All ammo carriers loaded with a minimum of 6 rounds (max div capacity). Start at P1. Engage T1-T6 with 2 shots to the body and 1 to the head with the following restrictions:

1) Shooter must engage all targets with one round each from each shooting position.

1) Shooter may only use one grip style (strong hand, weak hand, or free style) at each position.

1) Each grip style (strong hand, weak hand, or free style) may only be used once.

1) Minimum of 2 reloads.

NER '14 Stage 11: Bad Delivery

SCENARIO: You’re a courier making a delivery. When the elevator doors open, you are confronted with a gang of robbers who immediately point their guns at you. You also hear a screams from behind the counter across the room.

PROCEDURE: Start standing at P1 in the middle of the elevator doors with the courier bag over your shoulder (the bag must be around your neck with one arm through and over your concealment garment).

Push the door button with strong hand and engage T1-T8. The courier bag must stay around your neck. The elevator doors are cover. T1-T6 must be engaged through the elevator doors. Elevator door activates NT swinger. S1 activates the clam shell. T3 is not disappearing. T1 – T6 cannot be re-engaged once you exit the elevator.

On the start signal engage T1-T4 from cover.

NOTE: All four targets are available from P1, T1-T2 are available from P2 and P3, T3-T4 are available from P4.

SCENARIO: While breaking up a robbery and a drug deal in a hotel, one of the drug dealers throws coffee in your informants face and prompts a firefight. Try and make it out alive.

PROCEDURE: Start standing at P1, loaded to division capacity, ammo carriers on belt.

Engage targets in the open from P1 or on the move to P2. At P3 engage the T4-T9. T5 has popper which must fall to activate out and back T9.

SCENARIO: The rickshaw driver didn’t make it and the bad guys are coming out of the woodwork. You had a moment to grab your gear and top off your gun but the only available cover is a street vendor cart.

PROCEDURE: Start standing next to the rickshaw. Gun loaded to division capacity at low ready. Ammo carriers loaded to division capacity on body. Briefcase in support hand.

Engage T1-T3, strong hand only, while advancing to P2. Engage T4-T6, free style, from low cover at P2. Shooter must bring briefcase to P2 but can drop it anywhere once at P2. T1 cannot be re-engaged once at P2. T2-T3 can be re-engaged freestyle once at low cover.

NOTES: Crossing beam activates T2 mover. T2 is not disappearing.

SCENARIO: Traveling in Peru for a major pharmaceutical company, you are riding in a rickshaw heading to a meeting on the outskirts of Iquitos. Because of the Shining Path terrorist threat, you’re authorized to carry an unloaded gun in compliance with local laws and have your gun in your briefcase along with a substantial sum of money. As the streets get noticeably more deserted, you start to get nervous . . .

PROCEDURE: Start sitting back in the rickshaw. Gun loaded but with an empty chamber in briefcase. Ammo carriers in briefcase.

Engage T1-T5 with 3 rounds each in priority while seated. T3-T5 are equal threat.

Engage T1-T3 with 2 shots while on the move. T1-T3 may be re-engaged from cover at P2. Engage T4-T6 from P3.

NOTES: T1-T3 move back and forth, pausing behind soft cover at each end.

NER '14 Stage 5: Hold It!

SCENARIO: A really bad guy jumped you. While trying to fend him off you notice there are others coming and it is time to go for a concealed handgun.

PROCEDURE: Start standing at P1, hands relaxed at sides, gun loaded to division capacity, holstered. Ammo carriers on body.

On start signal, with your weak hand push up the “bad guy.” This will expose T1 and T2 and also after a 7 s delay will activate the (slow, ~3s exposure) drop-turner T3. Engage T1-T6. T4-T6 must be engaged only from position of cover P2. T1-T2 are only visible from P1 when the dummy is pushed up. T3 can be engaged from either P1 or P2. T1 and T2 can be re-expose by pushing the dummy up.
