SCENARIO: You are hiking through the woods looking for a nice spot for a picnic when charged by a bear!

PROCEDURE: Start with both hands grasping a picnic basket straps. Gun holstered and loaded to division capacity with ammo carriers on body.

At the signal, engage T1-T6 with at least 2 rounds. NOTE: Targets represent the bear’s advance towards you. Once you have moved to the next target, you may not reengage the preceding target.

SCENARIO: While preparing the next set of logs for your cabin it appears that your neighbors are back for round two. Protect your new homestead.

PROCEDURE: Start holding ax in both hands squared to the log pile. Gun holstered and loaded with only six rounds. Ammo carriers on body.

At the signal, while moving to P2 engage T1-3. At P2 engage the remaining targets. NOTE: Ax activates clamshell at T1. There is no cover at P1. PP1 activates T4, PP2 activates T7. P2 will be a pile of logs.

SCENARIO: Work, Politics, Taxes enough is enough! You sell all your worldly possessions and buy land in the middle of Dunbarton and build a new cabin. While sitting on the porch in your rocking chair sipping your moonshine and marveling at your new creation, you are suddenly attacked by your new neighbors!

PROCEDURE: Start rocking in the rocking chair at P1, moonshine in your strong hand. Gun loaded to division capacity, ammo carriers on body.

At the signal, engage targets through available ports and left side of wall. NOTE: Visual barriers will be used to force shots from appropriate positions. T5 + T6 will have painted hard cover.

Live Free Or Die Stage 3: Birthday Party Part 2

SCENARIO: Your daughter wasn’t impressed with your special birthday meal, and the piñata you made out of a dead cat was just gross. This party isn’t going well, but you’re sure she is going to like the new handgun you got her (even if it did come off one of the dead marauders from stage 2). Unfortunately, party crashers have arrived. They weren’t invited, so open her present early and teach them a lesson.

PROCEDURE: Start seated at P1 with firearm unloaded, in IDPA box. Ammo carriers loaded, in box on table. Hands holding an MRE packet.

Engage T1-T6 with 2 rounds each. NOTE: The lid to the IDPA box hits the button that activates the swinger T1. Poppers behind T2 and T3 activate T4 and T5. T1 and T4 are not disappearing. T6 is at 25 yards.

SCENARIO: Society has collapsed and it’s a dog-eat-dog world and you’re wearing milk-bone underwear. It’s also your daughter’s birthday and you want to do something special. You’ve convinced her that you can whip up something special with MREs and you’ve taken her out to your last hidden stash to retrieve your last box. Unfortunately, some marauders have followed you and would rather have those MREs for themselves.

PROCEDURE: Start with firearm loaded to division capacity and holstered; ammo carriers on body. Strong hand holding the handle of the shovel.

Engage T1 with 6 rounds. T2-T3 with 3 rounds each.

SCENARIO: A romantic dinner in a secluded restaurant. Three thugs pull knives and go for your significant other. As you make your way out of the restaurant you find other thugs.

PROCEDURE: Start standing at P1, gun loaded to division capacity and holstered with ammo carriers on body.

Engage Engage targets T1-T3 while moving to P2 in tactical sequence. Engage T4-T6 from P2, steel behind T6 activates T5 which is an up/down. From P3, engage T7-T8 from low cover. NOTE: T5 is not disappearing. T7-T8 is not visible from P2 Hay will be used behind wood to prevent shoot throughs.

SCENARIO: A Riot in your town. Your gun and ammo is located in the nightstand. Grab your gun and protect your home through the front windows. Watch out for neighbors.

PROCEDURE: Start standing facing up range. Gun is loaded to division capacity, placed in night stand behind you. Ammo in the drawer also.

Get your gun and any ammo you wish to take with you. Engage T1-T8 with 2 rounds each. Steel must fall. NOTE: Cannot come back to nightstand once you leave P1.

SCENARIO: You are local PD on the scene investing a noise complaint when you hear screaming from inside the house while you are looking around outside. You enter the residence and you recognize local missing persons who are trying to escape. Their attackers look like they are undead or on meth. Don’t mind the coffin.

PROCEDURE: Start with hands relaxed at side. Gun loaded to division capacity, ammo carriers on body.

At the signal, engage T1-T2 from P2. Engage T3-T5 from the left side of the open door at P3. Engage T5 from P4. Engage T6-T8 from P5. NOTE: Sensors near P1 activate the charger. T1 drops down from the ceiling.
