SCENARIO: You are head of security on a merchant ship. There has been a hostage situation on your cargo ship and the pirates are getting away with your captain on the lifeboat. Save your captain!

PROCEDURE: Start at P1, firearm loaded to division capacity, holstered, and magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt, hands relaxed at sides.

At P1, engage T1 & T2 in tactical sequence while moving to P2. Engage T3-T5 from P2, then advance to P3 and engage T6-T8.

SCENARIO: You are working at the local bar when some foreigners with German accents enter the bar and threaten you and your patrons. Defend and protect your establishment, much like Indiana Jones did in the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

PROCEDURE: Start at P1, both hands resting on the X’s marked on the bar. Firearm loaded to division capacity, holstered, and magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt.

All targets will be engaged with strong hand only. On the signal, draw, drop to one knee and using the bar as low cover, engage T1-T3 in tactical sequence. Then engage S1, S2, T4 & T5.

SCENARIO: You mistakenly wander into a very rough part of town and find yourself facing 4 very mean gangsters who threaten to kill you. Facing a disparity of force and fear for your life, you try to gain the advantage by suggesting “Bangkok Rules”. Just like Snake Pliskin did in the movie, “Escape from LA.” Throw the can in the air and gain the advantage!

PROCEDURE: Start at P1 with firearm loaded to division capacity, holstered, and magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt. Hands relaxed at sides with strong hand holding a tin can.

On the signal, shooter throws the can in the air with their strong hand and then draws to engage T1 – T4 in tactical sequence.

SCENARIO: You are a taxi driver in a congested city. While at stop light, a group of armed men approach your vehicle and threaten you. Protect yourself and your passengers, much like they did in the movie “Inception.”

PROCEDURE: Start seated with hands on the steering wheel at 10 & 2 o'clock. Gun loaded to division capacity placed on the passenger seat. Magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt.

Using tactical priority, engage IDPA targets T1-T7 with 2 rounds each, steel must fall.

SCENARIO: You are ambushed in the lobby of an office building. Run to the elevator to make your escape! Much like Neo and Trinity did in “Matrix.”

PROCEDURE: Start standing at P1, duffel bag in weak hand, strong hand relaxed at side. Handgun loaded to division capacity, holstered, and magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt.

Engage T1-T6 while advancing to P2. Shooter must have the duffel bag in their weak hand while moving and for each shot. Shooter may drop duffel bag to reload, but must pick it up again before the next shot. At P2 shooter may drop the bag and engage T7-T9 freestyle while using cover.

START POSITION: All Strings – Handgun loaded to division capacity and magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt.

String 1:  Sitting at P1, Start with firearm in the weak hand, pointed down range at a 45o down angle, safety may be off, but the trigger finger must be out of trigger guard.

String 2:  Standing at P2 with hands up in the air in surrender position.

SCENARIO

String 1: You are alone on the subway and 2 bad guys enter and threaten you with a knife (The Brave One).

String 1: Two bad guys steal your suitcase, and when you ask for it back, they pull guns and threaten you (Collateral).

PROCEDURE

String 1:  Using weak hand only, on signal, engage T1 and T2 with 2 shots to the body and 1 to the head (2+1 and 2+1).

String 1:  Using strong hand only, on signal, draw and engage T3 with 2 shots to the body, then T4 with two shots to the body, then re-engage each target with 1 head shot (2+2+1+1).

SCENARIO: You stop by to pick up your buddy at his apartment in a rather shady area of town. You find yourself in the middle of a drug deal gone bad and the drug dealers are shooting at anyone standing. Some have automatic rifles and you only have a handgun and a fire extinguisher. Shoot the fire extinguisher to cause an explosion and hopefully even the odds. Well....it worked for John McClain in Live Free or Die Hard.

PROCEDURE: Start at P1 firearm loaded to division capacity, holstered, and magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt. Shooter hands placed on the marks on the wall by the elevator.

On the signal, from P1 engage S1, T1, T2 & T3). Advance to P2 and engage T4. Then move to P3 and while kneeling and using the refrigerator and doorway for cover, engage T5 & T6.

Cross the raging river on the rickety bridge while protecting your fellow treasure searchers and rescue your friend captured as a hostage. Much like Indiana Jones did in Solomon’s mine in the movie “Temple of Doom!”

PROCEDURE: Start standing at P1, holding a gold nugget with firearm loaded to division capacity, holstered, and magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt.

On the signal, drop the gold nugget and engage T1 thru T3 free style, while crossing the rickety bridge. Move to P2 and using cover, engage S1, T-4, T-5, T6 & T7. (S1 activates the mining cart.)

SCENARIO: You stop into a rest area off the highway to utilize their clean, “sanitary” port-a-potty. While inside you hear a ruckus outside near the hedge row and thru a crack, you see 6 gang members attacking your family. Using surprise tactics, you open the door and save your family. Much like “Buckshot Roberts” did in the outhouse scene in the movie, “Young Guns”

PROCEDURE: Start sitting at P1, firearm loaded to division capacity and resting on either left or right shelf. Magazines or speedloaders stowed in ammo carriers on belt.

On the signal, kick the “porta-potty” door open, retrieve firearm from shelf and engage T1 thru T6 freestyle.
