BERRYVILLE, Ark. – The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) announced the dates for the 2014 New England Regional IDPA Championship, and that the match will once again be sponsored by Smith & Wesson.

Taking place the weekend of August 15-17, the 2014 Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship will be hosted by the MetroWest Tactical IDPA club at the Harvard Sportsmen’s Club.

“Over the past 17 years Smith & Wesson has developed a great working relationship with the IDPA clubs in New England. The dedicated and talented volunteers of our neighboring IDPA clubs have always assisted Smith & Wesson with the matches we host and we’re proud to lend our support to the 2014 New England Regional,” said Paul Pluff of Smith & Wesson.

“Smith & Wesson has always been a generous benefactor of the major shooting matches here in New England and we’re very pleased to once again have this American gun making icon as our title sponsor,” said Michael Joffe, sponsor coordinator for the 2014 New England Regional.

Registration for the 2014 Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship is expected to open on May 1 and shooters are encouraged to register as quickly as possible in anticipation of a quick sell-out.
