SCENARIO: You have just returned home from an IDPA practice when you hear your kids screaming as a gang breaks into your house.

PROCEDURE: Start seated at table, hands on Xs. Unloaded gun with all magazines in the range bag.

At signal retrieve your gun and magazines from the range bag. Load your gun and go to P1. At P1 engage T1-T2 with two shots, PP1 until it falls and move to P2. At P2 engage T3-T4 with two shoots, PP2–PP3 until it falls and move to P3. At P3 engage T5 - T6 with two shoots. Tactical priority and cover must be used for all shots.

ROUND COUNT:
 15
TARGETS: 9 IDPA, 2 Non-Threat, 3 Steel
SCORED HITS: Best Two Shots On Target

PROCEDURE: Start loaded to division capacity, gun holstered with hands relaxed by your side,

At signal engage all targets in tactical priority with 2 rounds each in the head. The black part of the target is considered hard cover.

SCENARIO: Vacationing in your ranch nine bad guys surprise you and your family. You have no other choice to but to defend your family as you have practiced in your IDPA matches.

PROCEDURE: Start at P1 with hands relax by your side, firearm loaded to division capacity and holstered.

At signal engage all targets (T1-T9) while moving from P1 to P5 with 2 rounds each using cover.

Puerto Rico Nationals Stage 2: Flat Tire

SCENARIO: Flat tire in a dangerous neighborhood. Eight gunmen try to steal you car.

PROCEDURE: Start facing up range at P1 with tire iron in strong hand and one knee on ground, firearm loaded to division capacity and holstered.

At signal stand up, turn, draw and engage T1-T2 in tactical priority while retreating to cover P2. At P2 engage T3-T4 then move to P3 and engage T5-T8 using cover. All targets (T1-T8) must be engage with 2 shots each. No shots allowed over the top of the car.

SCENARIO: Leaving Pipo’s Bar you withdraw money from the ATM machine. When you are surprised by several armed criminals. They demand your cash.

PROCEDURE: Start at P1 facing up range, hands on the ATM machine with cash in your weak hand.

At signal put the money in your pocket, turn and engage T1-T3 in tactical sequence (1-1-2-1-1) while retreating. Engage the remaining targets with 2 shots as they become visible while retreating to P6.

BERRYVILLE, Ark. – The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) announced that noted holster and accessories manufacturer, the Houston-based Comp-Tac Victory Gear, will be a major sponsor of the 2013 Puerto Rico IDPA National Championship taking place this weekend in Caguas, Puerto Rico.

The Puerto Rico IDPA Nationals have received significant support from the shooting sports industry. Along with Comp-Tac Victory Gear, the championship is being sponsored by Blade-Tech, Century International Arms, Fiocchi Ammunition, Fobus Holsters & Pouches, Safariland, Uncle Mike’s Law Enforcement and Smith & Wesson.

The match will take place on March 16 and 17.
