| Date: |
March 1998 |
| Scoring Method: |
Vickers Count |
| String 1 Description: |
You, the driver, are stopped in traffic,
waiting for the car in front to move. Three men with guns in their waistband
approach the car. They demand you get out of the car. (Extreme verbal
pressure, loud yelling etc.) Seeing several innocent parties, you get out
and close the door. As you step out of the car hands up, (surrender
position) the closest robber reaches for his gun. You engage with 1 or 2
shots to the body (pepper popper, must knock down). The second & third
robbers are drawing guns. Using available cover (run around the car, being
careful not to break the "180") engage them two shots to the body & 1 to the
head (Mozambique) |
| String 1 Notes: |
The shooter will load & make ready before
getting in the car. Door closed seatbelt on and door locked. SO says "GIVE
ME YOUR CAR" and the shooter gets out into the surrender position, hands up.
As soon as this position is taken- Start timer. The shooter must make use of
cover for T-2 & T-3. |
| String 2 Description: |
You, the passenger are stopped in traffic. A
carjacking goes bad, and the car comes under fire. Get out of the car,
starting in surrender position, wait for start signal, draw and shoot the
pepper popper, take cover, tactical reload, and engage each remaining T-2 &
T-3 hostile target again Mozambique style. |
| String 2 Notes: |
Same setup as string1- Shooter must exit the
car before drawing, must draw from surrender position, and must make
sensible use of cover. True vickers scoring, best shots to count for score.
|
| String 3 Description: |

when the gunmen try a carjack. You come under fire. Enage all 3 hostiles
while moving, in tactical order, steel popper, then the 2 paper targets
Mozambique. |
